For once, don’t write out a plan. Don’t mentally rehearse the way you will narrate your obstacles and excuses or announce your successes. Don’t groan, complain, boast, or blame anyone. This moment is just for you. Go ahead and make one change you know will improve the state of your life. Continue until you have done all that you can or circumstances intervene to force you to stop. Later, when you get another chance, make another change.
