jug of water
If you have no equipment at all in your kitchen, start by getting a container for drinking water.
The “tip of the iceberg” is the part you pay attention to first because it is easily seen above the waterline. The center of mass of the iceberg is much lower and cannot be seen directly. Senses are limited and regularly mislead you in a similar way about where things are happening, and the scale of things.
After you complete a major goal, or one you had worried about, take time to check how you’re doing. Did you remember to pay the bills, feed the cats, write those thank-you notes? Is there food in the pantry? Do you need some time for relaxation, exercise, meditation, or rest? Do you need a glass of water right now?
