Pick a book off the shelf at random. Open it to a page at random. Look at the page and find a useful idea. Take action on the idea.
Emotion is an action signal. For example, when you feel hurt, it may indicate the need for action to make yourself stronger. If your emotions are overwhelming or have fallen silent, you can change that by taking small actions of the kind that your emotions point to. Use past emotions as a guide if your present emotions are too vague to pick out.
