fantasy vs. real
Write a fantasy to-do list. Load it up with anything anyone might want you to accomplish and anything that would feel good to say you had done. Then set that list aside and write a real to-do list, one that contains slightly less than you can do in one day.
flow
In dreams, there are not so many doors, steps, or walls. Distances are shorter. Messages do not require so many words.
peaceful dreams
Scale back the things that connect you to the things that most trouble you, and you can spend less of your sleeping time worrying about disasters and more of it discovering new possibilities.
wisher washer
Spend time clarifying what you really want before you put much energy behind your wishes.
dreaming and searching
In an Internet search, look up one person or subject from a dream of the previous night. Consider doing this when you first wake up in the morning or before you go to sleep at night.
dream with a vision
Even when dreaming you get farther when you know exactly what you are trying to do.
only a dream
Remember a recent dream. Write down in a few words what you can remember of the dream. Remember a recent news story that was based entirely on a rumor. Write down in a few words what you can remember of the rumor. Compare. One of the two is more meaningful and relevant in your life than the other.
the unreal truth
Any experience has an effect on the person who experiences it and others who hear about it. Everything in life is real in that sense.
state and form
Ordinarily, you don’t need to count your toes. You don’t need to count the moon. But in a dream? That’s different.
oracle
Dreams become easier to remember if you expect to learn an important detail about your future in a dream.
cloud
Use words in your dreams. You own these words in a way that you cannot own the words you see and hear on television.
spring water
When you have a wish, remember. You have seen someone do something similar. You saw how they did it. Probably you saw this several times. Ask yourself where the wish came from, and you will remember.
