circadian questions

If you know you have important questions to decide, plan to address then at a time of day when you are likely to be in a strong mental state. Avoid a time of day when you are likely to be in a state of fatigue, frustration, or sugar depletion.
Trying to make too many careful decisions in a row can make you crazy.
Today, limit your sugar consumption to no more than 60 grams in a meal or at any one time, and see if this makes your thinking more clear.

Candy, if it is made with a mix of sugars and fatty acids, is brain food, which can make you temporarily a little smarter, or at least more focused in thought. If you find yourself eating Halloween candy, use the short-term boost in brain power to solve a difficult problem or to organize something.
